Every day you aren’t learning, you aren’t living. Never go a day without learning something new.
When you are in sales you get into a routine and your techniques can get stale and old. Some of your techniques won’t work on certain people and you need to change it up.
I’ve been in sales for 20 years professionally but selling my whole life. Times and people have changed over the years and I’m always adjusting. Adjusting how I get to people, adjusting how I communicate with people, adjusting how I speak with people, adjusting how I close a deal, etc. etc., the list never ends. As soon as you stop learning and changing you stop your success. No matter how much you believe you know you can always learn something new.
